Seashore adventures awaiting guests include swimming, fishing, diving, kayaking and at low tide, strolling along the sandy beach, where you can collect shells and discover various forms of sea life in the tidal pools. Mount Washington, only 11/2 hours north, offers excellent skiing.

Establish your vacation base in our comfortable, clean suite with tile floors and in-floor heating, Nanaimo is ideally located for day excursions - North to Campbell River and Mount Washington for winter skiing; South to Duncan and Victoria; West to Long Beach, Tofino and Ucluelet on the West coast of Vancouver Island, and; East to Vancouver. Downtown Vancouver can be reached by ferry via Horseshoe Bay, or a 20 minute flight by seaplane.
